The Blessed Project

My Blessed Project is a long one. We’ll get to it in a sec. First, let me explain what The Blessed Project is. Susie Lindau started The Blessed Project when she posted a list and some photos of all the things she was grateful for in her life last year. I wasn’t in the blog world then so I didn’t see it then, but I follow her now and got to see her Blessed Project for this year. This project really resonates with me and is one of the driving forces behind me starting this website, and writing these articles I write.

We live in a world where we are continually asked to want MORE! More everything! And in our compulsive search to have more, we forget to acknowledge everything we already have. The Blessed Project really embodies the concept of gratefulness. And I do believe every one of us has much to be grateful for.

My Blessed Project

I LOVE concerts and I was lucky enough to attend many this year! But these concerts would not have been nearly as fun without the awesome people I went with.

When I started this year, my goal was to have as many adventures as possible. I think I accomplished this! Love that my Adventure Buddy was up for ANYTHING! Grateful my family is also up for so many adventures. It really was an awesome year!

The People Who Matter

It’s the people in your life that can make or break a day. Without all of these people here, my life would be pretty dull. These are the friends and family who bring Adventure and Excitement, Comfort and Home, as well as Support and Challenge. They each taught me something about myself, about who I am, and about who I want to be.  Some of them I talk to every day. Some I may have only talked to a handful of times this entire year. They are all my family. Unfortunately, not everyone who has touched my life made it here, but I appreciate you all even if there is no photo of you here. Love you all!
